Q: What makes Rosenblum Realty unique or different from other real estate companies?

Rosenblum Realty was started here in Huntsville and is a family-owned, fourth generation company that has been in business for 62 years. We feel that being non-franchised and locally grown, we have well-grounded roots of knowledge and experience about this area to share with our clients. Built on sound principles of honesty and trust, we have served many repeat customers and multiple generations, as well as newcomers to our area. With over 300 years of combined experience, our agents offer a high degree of skill to offer our clients, comprehensive advice and judgement, whether buying or selling. We also have a leasing department that manages a large inventory of single-family homes to assist those who just need to lease rather than buy or phase into homeownership at some later date.

Q: Huntsville’s real estate market is experiencing major growth, and that can bring challenges. What advice can you give buyers now who are searching for a home in this hot market?

The phenomenal growth we are experiencing in Huntsville, Madison and the surrounding area has certainly put a squeeze on the housing supply. Brand new and existing homes supplies are at an all-time low. There are several things buyers need to do in order to be able to purchase a home that meets their needs. One – partnering with a competent Realtor will give you someone to help you with your search to connect you with the best options available & navigate you through the whole process. Secondly, get pre-approved for financing, so you know how much you can borrow and be more impressive on any offer. Third, be patient, and once educated on the market be ready to move quickly on the right property.

Q: Does the current market bring challenges to sellers as well?

Sellers have to remember that even though the market supply is low, you still have to keep the same guidelines in place, when thinking of selling your home. It always centers around pricing the home in the market, having the home in good condition to show, and being able to alter your schedule for showing opportunities. There are always exceptions, but generally getting the best price involves some effort and preparation by any vigilant seller.

Q: What value do you gain from your HREGI investment?

I feel that being involved with HREGI gives me a view of the “big picture” of what is happening in our area, in regards to economic growth. It connects our company and services with new businesses coming into our area and existing company expansions. Being able to attend special updates and meet other leaders in our community makes for a great environment to learn how you can serve better them, knowing their needs better. It is also just exciting to see how the community is pulling together to make things better for everyone.
