With 35 years of banking experience, and a distinguished background in commercial lending and credit portfolio management right here in north Alabama, J.E.P.’s leadership has consistently driven success in relationship development and credit quality across the commercial banking space. In his new role with Merit, J.E.P. will help lead the team in business development, client acquisition, and the management of commercial relationships, while also playing a key role in supporting the credit administration team.
J.E.P. is a proud alumnus of Auburn University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance. With a strong focus on the success of the community, J.E.P. is a member of the Huntsville Rotary Club, the Class 19 of Leadership Greater Huntsville, a former board member of the United Way agency L.I.F.T. and past president and treasurer of the Huntsville Eastern League board.
