Since joining Yorktown in 2016, Short has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s people strategy and culture. As Senior Vice President of Workforce Management, Short will serve in a key senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize labor utilization and efficiency across Yorktown’s diverse operations.
She will also continue to champion a workforce culture that prioritizes employee well-being, engagement, and professional growth — creating an environment where people feel valued, supported, and inspired to contribute their best.
Her expanded responsibilities now include leadership of all workforce-related functions at Yorktown, and its wholly owned subsidiary, The Unconventional, LLC, encompassing People Operations/Human Resources, Travel, Security, and Marketing. Under her leadership, Yorktown continues to enhance employee experience and drive operational excellence across all workforce touchpoints.
