IronMountain Solutions (IMS) is pleased to announce the promotion of Luther Laney to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & President, bringing nearly 15 years of proven leadership within the company. Throughout his tenure, he has guided IMS’ four divisions that directly support the U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and Department of Defense (DoD) contracts with a steadfast commitment to excellence and Extreme Customer Focus®.
Before joining IMS, Luther served honorably for more than 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, retiring in May 2004. Following his service, Luther supported more than 45 programs from inception to completion, meeting operational needs during the Gulf War, contributing to Army Aviation platforms, such as the Utility Helicopter Project office (UHPO) and the Cargo Helicopter Project Office.
Luther holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Campbell University and a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Acquisition and Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Luther currently sits on the Board of Directors for Still Serving Veterans, a nonprofit organization supporting the needs of America’s Veterans. He and his wife, Mary, have been married for over 38 years and are proud parents of two children, Austin and Ashley.
