Olivia Pennington has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of CBS affiliate WHNT, CW affiliate WHDF, and WHNT.com. Before her promotion, Ms. Pennington served as Director of Sales at WHNT in Huntsville, AL, and WRBL in Columbus, GA, beginning in 2020 with Nexstar Media Group. As Director of Sales, she was responsible for all aspects of broadcast and digital advertising sales, leading her teams to achieve significant growth in total advertising revenue.

Ms. Pennington is a Board Member of the Better Business Bureau of North Alabama. In her previous market, she served on the American Red Cross Board, Salvation Army Board, and Columbus Civic Center Advisory Board. A graduate of Columbus State University, Ms. Pennington earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
