HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA, September 17, 2026 — Roots Group today strengthened its long-term commitment to manufacturing in the United States with the opening of a new Victory Sweepers manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama.

The new 74,000-square-foot facility sits on 17 acres at 336 Green Cove Road in south Huntsville and represents a $10 million investment by Roots Group. It builds on the company’s nine-year presence in Huntsville, where Roots Multiclean Inc. has operated from a rented facility since 2017. The site currently employs 31 people, with plans to grow the team to approximately 75 over the next three years. At full capacity, the facility will manufacture up to 200 commercial sweepers annually and support the assembly of up to 1,000 electric vehicles a year.

The event also marked the world premiere of NAVEO, an all-new Neighbourhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) from Roots Autotec Technology Inc., which is street-legal and designed for on-road use in the US market.

Speaking at the event, Varun Karthikeyan R., Vice Chairman, Roots Group, said:

“We didn’t just arrive in Huntsville today — we deepened a commitment we made nearly nine years ago. We started out of a rented facility down the road, learning this market and building relationships. Today, this 74,000-square-foot, $10-million facility is the result. Huntsville isn’t just a stop on our map anymore — it’s becoming home, and we intend to keep investing here for decades to come.”

Tommy Battle, Mayor of Huntsville, said: “Roots Multiclean’s investment in this new facility is another great example of the momentum we’re seeing in south Huntsville. It’s exciting to see more new investment, manufacturing capacity and good-paying jobs in this corridor. We’re grateful to Roots for continuing to grow in Huntsville and look forward to seeing what they accomplish here for years to come.”

Chairman Rex Vaughn of the Madison County Commission also commented, “I would like to congratulate Roots Multiclean on their brand new building. This new facility will expand their manufacturing capabilities from street sweepers to new recreational use vehicles. We are excited about the additional jobs that will come with this expansion. I wish Roots Multiclean much success in the future and appreciate their commitment to doing business in Madison County.”

The event was attended by Mayor Battle, government officials, business partners, customers, employees and invited guests. The program included the ribbon-cutting of the facility and the unveiling of NAVEO, followed by an open house and facility tour.

Victory Sweepers, a division of Roots Multiclean Inc., manufactures street, road, parking and industrial sweeping equipment in the United States. The Huntsville facility expands its manufacturing capabilities and supports continued growth in the North American market.
