Send us your artwork to cheer on the Para Cyclists!

The U.S. Paralympics Cycling Open will be held in Huntsville’s Cummings Research Park on Saturday and Sunday, April 17-18.  The athletes are very excited about coming to the Rocket City! This is their return to competitive racing, since events were cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic. Let’s give them a big Rocket City welcome!

We encourage you to make posters and hold them up as racers go by. Schools or families may also make posters ahead of time, that we can put at the athletes’ hotel to welcome them. You can bring these by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber before Monday, April 12.  We’re located at 225 Church Street NW, Huntsville, AL 35801.

Thank you to students in Madison City Schools for making these awesome posters to welcome the Para cyclists to the Rocket City! (April 12, 2021)

At the event, wear patriotic colors as you root for the Para-cyclists! If you’re having an event with your company, wear your company shirts and post your support on social media with the hashtags #Huntsville2021 and #Paracycling and tag us:
