Cortina Solutions is delighted to honor Shakeria Hayes in her recent promotion to Vice President of Administration, where she leads the company’s Contracts, Accounting, HR and IT teams. The company is also celebrating her recent marriage to her husband, Aaron Dixon, Director of the University of Tennessee’s Success Academy.

Shakeria is an active member of NCMA, the Catalyst Workforce Now Committee, and Women in Defense, Tennessee Valley Chapter, where she was awarded the Young Professional of the Year in 2019.

In her eight years with Cortina Solutions, Shakeria has grown her role from Administrative Assistant to VP of Administration. Her efforts have led to the company’s growth and Cortina continues to look forward to her guidance, experience, and capabilities in the continued effort in leading corporate operations.

Shakeria earned a BS in Accounting from Alabama A&M University and a Master’s in Acquisition & Contract Management from Florida Institute of Technology.
