Freedom Real Estate and Capital (Freedom) announced on April 11 that Tyce Hudson, Project Director, Advisory Services, has been promoted to Vice President, Advisory Services, effective immediately. In this role, Hudson will be responsible for leadership and continued growth of the Advisory Services line of business and serve as principal-in-charge on large developments.

Since joining Freedom in 2022, Hudson has played a pivotal role in the rapid growth of the firm’s design and construction advisory services. Under his leadership, Freedom’s managed project portfolio has grown extensively, reflecting the company’s expanding influence and trusted expertise in the industry.
Freedom’s advisory team now oversees a dynamic slate of high-profile projects such as Alabama A&M University’s New Science Building, Alabama A&M University’s Student Amenities Building, Clearview Cancer Institute’s Decatur Campus, Special Aerospace Services (SAS) Manufacturing & Assembly Facility in Research Park and some upcoming key projects for the University of Alabama in Huntsville. These landmark projects underscore Freedom’s reputation for excellence and its ability to deliver strategic oversight on transformative developments.
Hudson is a seasoned veteran in the construction industry with almost three decades of experience. Before joining Freedom in 2022, he spent 24 years with the nation’s largest construction manager, serving in several different roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University.
He is also accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C) and as a Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
