Whitney O’Rear, MBA, EA has been promoted to Manager in the Tax Advisory Services Department of Anglin Reichmann Armstrong. Whitney joined Anglin in 2019 and has been in public accounting since 2015.

“Whitney is a vital member of our tax team, and we are pleased to promote her to management this year,” said Brandon Smith, Managing Partner.

She works with clients on a variety of tax matters that include SALT, corporate tax planning and preparation, R&D tax credits, government contracting, professional services, and individual and pass-through entity planning and preparation. Whitney is also an Enrolled Agent, qualified to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

Whitney serves on the Board of Directors for Rocket City Scholarship Granting Organization. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), Women’s Economic Development Council (WEDC), and Junior League of Huntsville.
