Huntsville Botanical Garden is pleased to announce and welcome Ashley Weems as the new Vice President of Finance and Operations. Ashley is a native 4th generation to Huntsville who earned her JD from Birmingham School of Law and an accounting degree from the University of Alabama.
Ashley’s experience in nonprofit accounting, corporate law, and strategic planning will aid in her role overseeing the Garden’s financial strategies, fiscal health, and organizational sustainability. She will also oversee day-to-day facilities operations and the processes that support the Garden’s mission and enhance visitor and staff experiences.
