The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is pleased to announce this year’s winners for the annual Best Places To Work® Awards! The winners were announced during a luncheon today at the Von Braun Center. These companies win based on results from employee surveys, and it’s a serious matter of pride to win! Companies also use this employee feedback to improve.

On July 14, we hosted a virtual discussion titled ‘How to be a Best Place for Working Parents and Why It Matters.’  We’d like to thank the companies who joined us to talk about the Best Places for Working Parents® designation, the science behind it, and the programs and resources they are interested in, or currently implementing in their organizations.

Institute for Organization Management, the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce that Kristy Drake and Claire Aiello, both of the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber in Huntsville, Alabama, have graduated from the program and have received the recognition of IOM.

At the Armed Forces Celebration luncheon, Redstone leadership inducted the 2022 class of Redstone Arsenal Good Neighbors – including the Chamber’s own Mike Ward. The Good Neighbor program was founded in 2010 to recognize members from the Tennessee Valley community who have gone above and beyond to positively impact the lives of service members and employees of Redstone Arsenal.

Meta announced Thursday it will expand the Huntsville Data Center campus with two new buildings, reaching nearly 3.5 million square feet. This expansion raises the company’s investment in Huntsville to more than $1.5 billion, and once it’s completed, the data center is expected to support more than 300 operational jobs.
