Drake State Community and Technical College is excited to announce Dr. Myron Parks as the Huntsville Tech FAME Chapter Coordinator.
Dr. Parks began his career in education as a third-grade elementary school teacher. In 2015, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to serve as an academic advisor at Trevecca University and to pursue his doctoral degree. While living in Nashville, Dr. Parks worked for the Department of Labor as a Veterans Representative and had the opportunity to serve as the Adult Student Retention Coordinator at Tennessee State University.
Upon moving back to the Huntsville area, Dr. Parks worked at Calhoun Community College as a Career Advisor, which led to an opportunity to serve as Workforce Development Manager at Huntsville Hospital. Dr. Parks has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Human Resources, a Master of Arts in Education (K-6), and a Doctorate in Education, Leadership, and Professional Practice, all from Trevecca University.
