We would like to welcome a new member to the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber team! Lakeysha Brown joined our staff on December 12, 2022 as our new Director of Member Engagement. If she looks familiar, Lakeysha has served as our Lead Ambassador for the last three years in our Chamber Ambassador Program.

Lakeysha is a native of San Diego, California and has lived in a total of five states, but has called Huntsville, Alabama her home since 1996. She came to Huntsville for college and fell in love with city and the people and never left.

Lakeysha graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Prior to working at the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber, Lakeysha spent 12 years in the Sales & Marketing side of the Hospitality Industry. She brings with her an extensive background in networking, sales, marketing and relationship building.

Lakeysha is married to Shawn Brown from Harvest, Alabama. He is the Data Management SME at Kearney & Company. Together, they have a 19-year-old daughter, Gabrielle who attends the University of Alabama – Roll Tide! – and a 12-year-old son, Cameron, who has a love for technology and music. Let’s not forget the boss of the house, Max the Malti-poo, who greets her after a long day at work.
