HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The U.S. Space & Rocket Center and Space Camp continue with a major fundraising campaign called “Save Space Camp.”

On our weekly Zoom call on August 5, our guests were John Nerger, Chairman of the Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission, Louis Ramirez, Interim CEO of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, and Ben Chandler, Chair of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center Education Foundation.  All talked about the need to bolster the USSRC and Space Camp for future generations of visitors and campers. Even though the minimum fundraising goal of $1.5 million has been reached, additional contributions will be used to offset expenses from the COVID-19 pandemic.
