SMALL BUSINESS & EVENTS
Located on the third floor of the Chamber building, the Small Business & Events Department offers advising by appointment through a partnership with UAH’s SBDC, hosts ongoing professional development classes, and organizes Chamber wide-events, including popular networking sessions. Professional development classes and workshops aim to fill skill gaps and give tips on how to conduct a successful business and grow professionally.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES AND OTHER EVENTS
The Small Business & Events Department of the Chamber offers several workshops, classes, and educational events through collaborations with numerous area entities including the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library, the University of Alabama Huntsville, Alabama A&M University, and several area businesses.
Other events such as "How to Supervise People & Lead a Team, a Glenn Shepard Seminar" and "The State of Healthcare" are hosted to support small businesses.WOMEN'S BUSINESS COUNCIL
The Women’s Business Council (WBC) is an advocate for women-owned businesses with the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber. The Council strives to be the leader in developing and sustaining a fertile, creative environment in which diverse, women-owned businesses maintain a high level of success and make significant contributions to the economic well-being of our community. The Women’s Business Council creates dynamic programming and networking opportunities in an effort to support women in business.
The Small Business Division, in conjunction with the Alabama A&M University Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Supportive Services, the UAH Small Business Development Center & Procurement Technical Assistance Center provides training in the form of workshops and seminars targeted toward new business owners and the small business community as a whole.
