Lee Shaw is Business Development Director for Madison City Schools. She joined our weekly call to talk about how the system is phasing students back in. Madison started on September 8, and our other two public systems will start to phase students back on Sept. 14.

Another update we discussed: Absentee voting offices opened today throughout the state, including at the Madison County Courthouse. Employees in our local office are working to process 7,000 requests for absentee ballots, according to Probate Judge Frank Barger. Here’s more information from AL.com.
