The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta announced the reappointment of David Nast, President & CEO, to another three-year term. This will be his second consecutive term on the Board.
Nast is a Founding Director of Progress Bank and has served as President and CEO since the bank opened in 2008. He holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from Jacksonville State University, as well as banking certificates from the Louisiana State University Banking School of the South and Georgia State University’s Leadership Institute. He also holds the Series 7, Series 66 and Series 24 securities licenses.
Nast has served on various community organizations throughout the years. Currently, he is a member of the Huntsville Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He serves on the Alabama Bankers Association Board (Past Chair) and the Huntsville Sports Commission (Past Chair). He also serves as a board member of Leadership Alabama (Current Chair) and the Huntsville Museum of Art (Past Chairman). He and his wife Lee live in Huntsville, Ala., and have four children and five grandchildren.
