Tegla Jones teaches seventh and eighth grades at Huntsville College Preparatory School.
Having graduated with honors with a degree in astrobiology from the Florida Institute of Technology, Ms. Jones has vast experience across multiple subject areas including physics, space sciences, chemistry, and mathematics. She has tutored students across many grade levels and most recently taught chemistry laboratory classes at the college level.
Since joining the HCPS team, Ms. Jones has been excited to bring experiential encounters with science to the middle school environment. Ms. Jones is always ready to help her students develop well-rounded skills in literacy, mathematics, and critical thinking and she looks forward to continuing to share her knowledge and passion for learning with her students.
Huntsville College Preparatory School is a K-12 non-profit private school that serves children with learning differences in Huntsville, AL. Our student body is comprised of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, and students who simply need an individualized learning experience. HCPS is the difference between going to school and experiencing education. We always teach to the student, never to the class.
