North Alabama Region President Ashton Dement is pleased to announce the addition of Valerie Whiteside to the River Bank & Trust team as Assistant Vice President and Mortgage Lender. Based in Huntsville, Ala., Whiteside will bring her extensive experience to help clients with their home financing needs.

Dement expressed his excitement for the new hire, saying, “We are delighted to welcome Valerie to our team. Her expertise and dedication to providing a personalized mortgage experience will greatly benefit our clients and the Huntsville community.”

Whiteside has over three decades of experience in the financial and mortgage industry and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. As an active community member, she volunteers for Harris Home for Children and attends Rivertree Church. She is married with two children and two grandchildren and has been a resident of Huntsville for many years.
