Rion Golden was recently appointed as a Senior Development Officer at UAH, working with the College of Business and the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.

Born and raised in Florence, AL, Rion worked in the real estate/finance sector for the past six years. Before joining UAH, he most recently served as a Mortgage Loan Officer with Progress Bank in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. He also brings experience as a fundraiser with multiple political campaigns over the past decade.

Rion earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Alabama. Rion and his wife, Caroline, are happy to be home in North Alabama. They live in Huntsville and are excited to see what the future holds — for this fantastic city and for UAH!
