Richard “Rich” B. Landolt, Rear Admiral, US Navy (Retired), became President and CEO of Still Serving Veterans (SSV) on April 1, 2023. Rich brings to SSV a wide range of experience in leadership, management, and training and a passion for helping Veterans. Among his assignments during his 32-year career in the US Navy, Rich commanded the Amphibious Forces for the 7th Fleet (Task Force 76) in Okinawa, Japan, and directed five humanitarian assistance efforts throughout Asia. He also served as the deputy director of the Expeditionary Warfare Division on the Navy staff and was a senior fellow on the Chief of Naval Operations Strategic Studies Group.

After retiring from the Navy in 2014, Rich served as the Executive Director of Public Safety for the city of Mobile, AL, building experience in community engagement and strong ties with the state of Alabama. He was then appointed Secretary of Defense Representative to NATO and Europe/Defense Advisor to the US Ambassador to NATO from 2017 – 2021 in Brussels, Belgium.

Rich earned a BA from the University of Florida in political science and an MS in Telecommunications Systems Management in Naval Postgraduate School.
