Rodney Davis was recently appointed as a member of the HEALS Board of Directors as an Individual Trustee.
Born and raised in Navasota, Texas, Rodney joined the U.S. Army right after high school. He served seven and a half years in the Army Enlisted. During this time, he was awarded a Green to Gold scholarship and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the Saint Martin University in 2001. Rodney was honored to be part of the first commissioning class for Pacific Lutheran University ROTC Program Commissioning as a Chemical Officer and later Acquisition Officer. During this time, he earned his Master of Science in Business Management/Acquisition and Contracting from Florida Institute of Technology 2010. Rodney remained on active duty until retiring in 2014 with 22 years of active Service in the U.S. Army. Today, Rodney currently serves as the Deputy Program Manager for the TEAMS Logistics contract, for Venturi A Chenega Company.
Rodney and his wife, Lisa, have resided here in Huntsville since 2008. They have two adult daughters and a 17-year-old son. Rodney currently serves as the Board President of the Venturi Brighter Day Employee Fund. He also serves on the First Stop Board of Directors. During his free time Rodney likes to travel, hang out with family and friends, and watch football. When asked the question “Who is your favorite team?” His answer is always “The Dallas Cowboys, is there any other team!”
