Radiance Technologies is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Heath Berry to Senior Vice President for Research and Development. Dr. Berry will lead the current Louisiana CHIPs and academic engagement for Radiance’s National Security Sector.
Dr. Berry came to Radiance in 2007 as an ASIC design engineer in Radiance’s Intelligence Systems Group (ISG) after working at the Louisiana Tech Institute for Micromanufacturing as a Research Assistant. Over time, he has served in a number of leadership roles for Radiance including Director of R&D for the Advanced Technology Division and as Assistant Vice President of the Cyber Solutions Group overseeing the Advanced Technology Development Operation. Most recently, Dr. Berry served as the Senior Vice President, Group Manager of our Electronic Systems & Cyber Technology Group.
Dr. Berry’s work and research has received over $250 Million in funding from AFRL, AMRDEC (DEVCOM), DARPA, MDA, NASA, NSF, NSWC, ONR, OSD, SMDC, and Commercial Partners. He is a Member of Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) for Electrical Engineering at Louisiana Tech University, an Adjunct Professor at LaTech and LSU, and a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Device and Materials Reliability. Heath has a BS in electrical engineering, a MS in both Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics, and a Ph. D. in Microsystems Engineering, all from Louisiana Tech University.
