Dr. Seth Thompson is the Chief Engineer of Troy7, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yulista. With nearly two decades of experience in launch vehicle and missile design focused on space flight for human exploration, Seth received his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Specializing in mission design and guidance, navigation, and control, Seth is the Mission Analysis and Design lead three-degrees of freedom trajectory engineer for the Space Launch System (SLS) in Marshall Space Flight Center’s EV 42 branch. During his seven-year tenure on the Mission Design Team, he has significantly impacted both the Artemis II and Artemis III missions, culminating in changes to the nominal trajectory to improve mission availability. Seth is passionate about space flight and advancing human exploration of the cosmos, focusing on building sustainable, inexpensive, and accessible space infrastructure.
