Dr. Rebecca Duke joined Montessori School of Huntsville (MSH) as the Head of School in February 2023, where she oversees the successful operation of the programs and activities of the school and upholds its mission and goals. Having worked with students in preschool to higher education and adult learners, Dr. Duke is delighted to join MSH.

“My first job out of college was a Montessori teacher, and it was a life-changing experience,” said Dr. Duke. “I’ve been in education for almost two decades – working in public and independent schools, non-profits, and museums – but I feel at home again with my Montessori community.”

She is excited to grow the school into its next phase of development and be the beacon for Montessori education in North Alabama.

Dr. Duke earned a PhD from Middle Tennessee State University, an MA and BFA from Jacksonville State University and is currently working on her Montessori Administrator Credential from Houston Montessori Center.
