The Huntsville Museum of Art Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Beverly Charlene “Charlie” Bonner as the new Chairman of the Museum Board of the City of Huntsville.

Bonner has been a dedicated supporter of the Huntsville Museum of Art for over 25 years. Beginning her involvement as a volunteer, she became an active member of the Women’s Guild and went on to serve on the Museum Foundation Board. Today, Bonner continues to make significant contributions as a member of the museum board, where she has chaired numerous events and committees, enhancing the museum’s impact on the community.

Bonner holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. With a professional background as a mortgage banker and realtor, she brings a wealth of experience to her roles in both the business and nonprofit sectors.

Residing in downtown Huntsville for more than three decades, Bonner and her husband, Wayne, are proud parents of their daughter, Caroline Bonner, who also calls Huntsville home. In her leisure time, Bonner enjoys painting, exercising, playing bridge, and spending quality time with her family and their dog, Sophie.
