CFD Research is proud to announce Britton Twyman has been recently promoted to Senior Director of Finance. Britton is responsible for managing the Finance and Accounting Department and plays an integral role in administering CFD Research’s ESOP Plan, including being instrumental in transitioning the company to 100% Employee-Owned in October 2023. Britton also maintains the accounting system workflows to ensure efficiency.

Britton joined CFD Research in 2022 with over nine years of experience in both government accounting as well as public accounting. After spending the first three years of his career in public accounting, Britton shifted to the government contracting space and quickly transitioned into a Senior role in which he planned, led, and coordinated company-wide financial reviews and audits. He has also worked closely with C-Suite Executives to forecast, manage budgets, and lead multiple compliance efforts.

Britton was previously at PeopleTec where he served as Sr Accountant and their ESOP Manager, where he led the ESOP Communication team, both internally and externally.

Britton has his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from Carson-Newman University and is currently working on his Executive Masters of Business Administration with the University of North Alabama.
