Bocar Group Opens New Plant in Limestone County

Bocar Group adds a new plant to its manufacturing capacity in Huntsville, Alabama. Several government officials and senior executives of Bocar Group attended the opening ceremony, celebrating an important milestone in the Group's history. With an investment of $176 million for land and construction, the site is already fully operational and will play an important role in meeting the growing demand for local and global markets.

Meta Pairs Expansion Announcement with Education Funding for Raise Your Hand & ASCTE

Meta announced Thursday it will expand the Huntsville Data Center campus with two new buildings, reaching nearly 3.5 million square feet. This expansion raises the company's investment in Huntsville to more than $1.5 billion, and once it’s completed, the data center is expected to support more than 300 operational jobs.

Toyota Announces Major Investment in U.S. Production, Including Huntsville, Ala. Facility

Advancing the company’s commitment to vehicle electrification, Toyota will invest $383 million in four of its U.S. manufacturing plants that build the heart of new Toyota and Lexus vehicles. HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Feb. 18, 2022) – Northrop Grumman, a global aerospace and defense technology company with more than 90,000 employees, has designated The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), a part of The University of Alabama System, as a “Focus University” – one of only eight institutions in the country to receive that distinction. With this title comes a donation of $90,000, which will be used to create endowed scholarships, support UAH student organizations, and provide for programs in business, science, technology, engineering and math.
