Daniel Kasambira was recently selected as the United Way of Madison County’s President and CEO. Daniel will leverage his 20 years of nonprofit experience and strong community connections to expand the impact of United Way’s network of nonprofit partners to best meet the changing needs of the community while strengthening relationships with corporate and community partners.

Prior to this position, Daniel worked with the YMCA at various locations across the country, including 7 years at our local Heart of the Valley YMCA where he served as the Chief Development and Community Engagement Officer. Kasambira’s community leadership credentials include: Huntsville Committee of 100, Chair of the Alabama Association of Non-Profits Board of Directors, Leadership Huntsville Alumni, Renasant Bank Advisory Board of Directors, Community Action for Youth (CAFY) Steering Committee, Community Kite Festival Steering Committee, Office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion Taskforce and he is a Rotarian at The Rotary Club of Huntsville.
