The Riley Center is excited to introduce Dr. Autumn Truss as its director of diagnostic services. The ORBIT Diagnostic and Evaluation Clinic was founded with a vision to provide an expert diagnostic experience and research based treatment plan for children experiencing symptoms of an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and offers a comprehensive, family centered and supportive approach.
Dr. Truss, Psy.D., first joined The Riley Center in 2012 as a registered behavioral technician after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama. After spending over two years in Huntsville, Autumn relocated to Louisville, Kentucky where she received her master’s and doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University.
Trained in both general and pediatric psychology, Dr. Truss completed practicum work across a variety of settings and has received extensive specialized training in the assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. She completed an autism focused predoctoral internship at Indiana University School of Medicine and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The Riley Center is excited by the opportunity to be working, once again, with Dr. Truss. We look forward to the expertise and leadership that she brings into the organization.
