Davidson Homes, a rapidly growing home builder based in Huntsville, has promoted Greg Duriez to chief operating officer.

Duriez, who previously served as regional president, has more than 30 years of experience in the new home industry. Before joining Davidson Homes, he was the Atlanta division president for Century Communities. Duriez has also worked for Pulte Homes, NVR Ryan Homes and KB Home.

Duriez will oversee all ongoing operations in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas and direct the company’s expansion into additional Southeast markets.
