Kayla Carlile is a new employee of the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber. She joined the team in June as the new Communications and Social Media Specialist. In this role, she will assist with communication needs, video assets and social media channels for the Chamber, ASmartPlace, and Cummings Research Park, along with other duties.

Kayla was previously employed at WZDX as the weekend sports anchor/reporter. She worked with countless community members for three years, telling stories and delivering both news and sports for all of North Alabama and parts of Tennessee. She was responsible for finding stories, filming, conducting interviews, and reporting her findings on a deadline. Her background in social media and communications stems back nearly five years, professionally, as she embarked on her television career in 2016.

Both Kayla and her fiancé Bill, graduated from the University of South Alabama and moved to Huntsville in 2018. They currently reside in Owens Cross Roads with their two-year-old golden retriever, Kora.
