Our guests from the UAH Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) shared information about a number of upcoming events. One is the 13th Annual Small Business Matchmaker, which is a great opportunity for small businesses to connect with government agencies and prime contractors one-on-one. The matchmaker event is a four-day, virtual event starting October 26 and ending November 4. For more information, go to the SBDC website.

In addition to the SBDC/PTAC events, we also heard about a grant program that provides federal money to our public schools, known as Impact Aid. Representatives of our school systems joined us to talk about the upcoming campaign and shared how you can help make your team members aware.
