Sirote announced February 17 that Sarah Green has joined the firm’s Tax Practice Group in Huntsville.
“We are thrilled to add Sarah to our team as we gear up for what is going to be a busy year and continued growth for our Huntsville office through Sirote’s upcoming combination with Dentons,” said Michelle Abroms Levin, Managing Partner of Sirote’s Huntsville office.
Sarah graduated from Liberty University with her JD, where she was president of the Student Bar Association, received the Class of 2020 Alternative Dispute Award, served as a Liberty Law Student Ambassador, and was a champion in the ABA’s 2019 Regional Negotiation Competition and a semi-finalist in the ABA’s 2019 National Negotiation Competition.
Sarah earned her BS from the University of North Alabama with a major in political science and a minor in business administration. During her undergraduate years, Sarah served as president of the Student Government Association, received the UNA Promising Alumni Award, served as a LaGrange Society Ambassador, and was a member of Phi Mu, Pi Sigma Alpha, and the UNA Swim Club. Additionally, she interned for the university’s attorney, researching federal, state, and local laws pertaining to the university.
Sarah began her legal career as a law clerk for Legal Services Alabama, where she counseled clients on diverse legal topics, such as landlord-tenant law, bankruptcies, foreclosures, divorce proceedings, and child custody arrangements. She also worked as a summer clerk in the Executive Division of the office of the Attorney General of Alabama. Most recently, Sarah clerked for the Hon. D. Alan Mann of the 23rd Judicial Circuit for Madison County.
