This year, Giving Tuesday is on May 5th – 5/5. In honor of the day, we’re highlighting that every contribution — whether it’s 5 minutes or $5 — makes a difference.

We held the Take 5 to Give $5 campaign in the two weeks leading up to Giving Tuesday, ending on May 5.  Our goal was $500,000, and with your help, we smashed that goal, raising just under $670,000! The total is still climbing on communityfoundationhsv.org/COVID.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created an unprecedented crisis, especially for nonprofit organizations who are on the frontline of this community crisis. Many of our partners are seeing higher-than-ever demand for their services, while also having to cancel the in-person fundraising activities that make their work possible. The money donated to the Community Foundation’s Emergency Relief Fund is supporting these nonprofits in a big way.
