HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – On Thursday, the UAH SBDC was presented with the Small Business Development Center Excellence & Innovation Center Award for the United States’ SBA Region IV (AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, and TN).
The award is given to one Small Business Development Center in each region and the selection is made at the national SBA headquarters level. This award recognizes the UAH SBDC’s outstanding contributions to the development and support of small businesses.
“We are pleased to honor the University of Alabama Huntsville Small Business Development Center with the 2018 Small Business Development Center Excellence & Innovation Center Award,” said Ashley D. Bell, Regional Administrator, U.S. Small Business Administration. “This award recognizes the entrepreneurial drive of the center as well as their ability to use innovation in order to best serve our clients — America’s small businesses. Congratulations to the UAH SBDC for their great achievements and for setting a regional example of excellence.”
