Calling All Middle Schoolers!

We encourage all local 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to enter the National Civics Bee®! You start by writing an essay, which is due on February 4, 2025. Select participants will be chosen for local competitions, who can then advance to the state and national competition. There are local and state cash prizes, and the grand prize is $100,000 for college!

CRP DefenseTech Accelerator announces inaugural cohort

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (December 5, 2024) – We are excited to announce the inaugural cohort of the CRP DefenseTech Accelerator, an effort between the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber, Cummings Research Park, and Treble One. Twenty companies applied to be in the first cohort, and after an extensive selection process, five were chosen to participate.

TQL Huntsville has opened in Bradford Office Park within Cummings Research Park. It is located on Bradford Drive. The Huntsville location is TQL’s third office in Alabama, joining Mobile and Birmingham.

Huntsville Hospital opens Gateway Medical Clinic with new care options for Team Redstone

Huntsville Hospital has opened the new Gateway Medical Clinic, located at Redstone Gateway. Services will include primary care, labs, ultrasounds, complete physicals for sports participation or employment, preventive medicine screenings, collaborative care of patients with chronic medical illnesses, and immunizations for those traveling to other countries.

Do you have solar eclipse glasses lying arond the office or house? You can take these to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, which is serving as a collection site for Astronomers Without Borders. The organization will send them to school children in South America, who will experience a total solar eclipse this October.

In addition, we have also seen more emailed invoices not being received. Here are some tips and options to ensure that you receive our invoice and that we receive your payment.

2024 Wage & Benefit Survey

The Chamber conducts an annual Wage & Benefit Survey for its membership each spring. This survey helps local employers gauge their compensation and benefit data against other companies in our region. We've extended the deadline to May 10, and results are free to participating companies.
