WASHINGTON, D.C.— Institute for Organization Management, the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, is pleased to announce that Mary McNairy, IOM, of the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber, has graduated from the program and has earned the recognition of IOM.

Today, Mazda revealed the all-new CX-50, which will be made at Mazda Toyota Manufacturing in Huntsville. Production will begin in January 2022. MTM will hire up to 1,400 additional team members to join its existing workforce, eventually reaching up to 4,000 once production is in full operation.

Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle gave his annual State of the City Address on November 8 at the Von Braun Center North Hall after Huntsville was named the largest city in Alabama. More than 1,100 people attended to hear his remarks, which reflected the successes our community accomplished over the last year. Watch the full recorded video.

This month our guests were Sam Givhan, local attorney and a State Senator for Alabama District 7, and Jeff Samz, Chief Executive Officer of Huntsville Hospital. Samz gave us an update on the latest COVID numbers in our community, all of which continue to drop. Givhan was able to speak on how the new district maps will be impacting our region.
