SMALL BUSINESS & EVENTS
Located on the third floor of the Chamber building, the Small Business & Events Department offers advising by appointment through a partnership with UAH’s SBDC, hosts ongoing professional development classes, and organizes Chamber wide events, including popular networking events. Professional development classes and workshops aim to fill skill gaps and give tips on how to conduct a successful business and grow professionally.
The Small Business & Events Department organizes the Chamber’s large annual events including: Best Places to Work Awards, Small Business Awards, the Annual Chamber Membership Meeting, Holiday Open House, SchmoozaPalooza, and the Chamber Golf Classic.

The Small Business & Events Department of the Chamber offers several workshops, classes, and educational events through collaborations with numerous area entities including, the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library, the University of Alabama Huntsville, Alabama A&M University, and several area businesses.

The Small Business Division, in conjunction with the Alabama A&M University Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Supportive Services, the UAH Small Business Development Center & Procurement Technical Assistance Center provides training in the form of workshops and seminars targeted toward new business owners and the small business community as a whole.
